I'M Bill Guy

A native Oklahoman, my career in teaching and education association work took me throughout the country. Photography was a part of my work with the side benefit of taking personal photos in exceptionally beautiful locations.

Now that I am retired, my passion is creating beautiful photographic art images from these photos as well as new ones I continue to capture.

I especially love creating extraordinary art from photos of seemingly ordinary objects and vistas.

Passion

I'm fascinated by the interplay of color, light and shadow as they imbue and fall on everything. I love creating unique photo art images from photos I have taken of beautiful objects, scenes and vistas, and especially creating something extraordinary out of the seemingly ordinary.

Purpose

I love being in nature, scouting out unique locations and thrilling to the beauty and serenity it affords me in a world too often marred by ugly pronouncements and awful actions. My hope is that the art I create from my photographs will provide others with that same serene sense of beauty.

Procedure

I take digital photos with my Nikon D7200 and lenses and my iPhone and apps, I process them in Photoshop and Lightroom using plugins and filters from Skylum, Topaz and One1 software programs. I finish them with various layering, masking and brush techniques..
